This is half of Jessner, self neutralizing peel classified as medium depth. A light, brightening resurfacing solution that improves the signs of aging, hyperpigmentation and textural problems with minimal downtime.
An individually tailored treatment combined with lactic acid, salicylic acid, resorcinol and retinols, creating a multipurpose resurfacing solution effective in minimising the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation issues like age spots, discolouration and uneven skin tone. This is a powerful treatment, which deeply exfoliates dead skin cells and stimulates cell renewal.
*Special note: For Fitzpatrick skin types 5 and 6 we recommend to pretreat the skin for at least two weeks with AHA/BHA products and the appropriate sun protection. One layer of GLOW peel is the limit when treating Fitzpatrick skin types 5 and 6.
Most patients report this treatment to be pain free, as it is a non-invasive topical procedure. One essential point to take into account before this treatment is, that, we are going to be very active on pore cleaning, blackheads and comedones removal, so please expect slightly longer downtime, and we guarantee it will be worth it.
A chemical peel is a treatment used to improve skin texture and tone. An acid is applied to the skin to lower the PH, which loosens the connections between dead skin cells, inducing exfoliation and stimulating new cells growth. This process causes superficial layer of dead skin to peel off, revealing smoother and more radiant complexion. Detox peel can also thicken epidermis, increase dermal volume and stimulate collagen.
Beautiful skin doesn’t happen overnight, and treatments take time to show results. A single procedure can provide the immediate effect of bright and radiant skin; however, more significant results in treating textural issues, fine lines and inflamed acne could take up to 8 weeks.
Pre-treatment products precondition the skin, accelerate results and minimize complications. Post-treatment products minimize complications, heal and soothe the skin and then maintain the results. Professional treatments always enhance the results of your home care products, and only highly skilled and experienced specialist can customise your best routine according to your changing lifestyle and agenda.
Peels work by deeply exfoliating the surface layers of the skin, forcing your body to quickly replenish it with new cells. When peels are performed regularly, the skin gets used to this process and begins to rejuvenate itself like younger skin would. To be sure that body doesn’t react to this deep exfoliation as it would to trauma, which can lead to pigment changes, exfoliation must be introduced gradually, giving the skin time to adjust.
How many treatments clients will need will depend on their skin conditions, types of lesions and general concerns.
In order for us to provide you with the best possible service and to achieve the optimal results, we recommend coming in for a consultation, where we will thoroughly examine your skin and assess your unique complexion (your SKIN ID). We will take your full medical history and your lifestyle characteristics into account, in order to establish your key concerns and to ensure that you are advised on the most suitable treatment tailored for your unique skin.
In order to achieve optimal results, we use active ingredients and most advanced techniques. However, it is not unusual for the skin to display slight rosiness or post treatment redness, which will normally diminish within the 48 hours post procedure. It is especially likely for the skin to appear blemished after deep cleanse, when treating acne and heavy congestion.
In the rare event some patients may develop an allergic reaction causing temporary rash, which could last up to several days.
As highly skilled professionals we always want to ensure that our clients get the best possible care and advice prior and post treatment. Therefore, we kindly ask you to fully inform us of your medical history, changes in skin condition, reactions and sensitivity, as well as sun exposure and any medication you are currently taking.
We offer light to medium depth peels known for their excellent results and safety profile. We believe in repeated treatments for progressive and gradual results, and to avoid the side effects and downtime associated with deeper peels. Our chemical peels are performed in a clinical setting, by trained skin care professionals only, so that they are always delivered safely and effectively.
Please consult with your physician regarding skin care products or treatments.
If you have skin issues while you are pregnant, it can be due to hormonal changes within, which, unfortunately, we cannot change. However, we can work with your skin making sure it looks and feels healthier, so that it is in a better shape and ready to be treated postpartum.
Yes, but it depends on your skin condition. It may take up to several treatments to get your skin into its optimal health. We normally advise you to start such treatments a year before the set date, and to have the final treatment 4-6 weeks before the ‘big day’.
As an alternative we would recommend our skin boost treatments, which would require minimum downtime and would achieve your desired results in a shorter span of time.
*Results may vary from person to person
