The saying goes, fail to plan, plan to fail. The exact same thing applies to skincare. So, in my latest blog post, I wanted to talk about planning skin care treatments effectively.
Right now, I am offering free online consultations to help you to plan your approach to skincare effectively. The purpose of my consultations is simple;
An initial consultation will allow me to identify your skin dilemmas, get to know your current ritual or routine before prescribing treatments that genuinely work.
When it comes to planning treatments that will help you to achieve the skin you want, there’s a lot of think about. From your lifestyle and diet to your chosen treatments and products, you need to consider several factors.
In some cases, less is definitely more. Take acids, for example – I’ve had many clients who will buy acids online, apply them religiously but fail to see the results they want. In other cases, clients have had flare-ups after using acids. Why? Because understanding acids is complex. Unless you understand skincare or chemistry, you should not be applying multiple acids to your skin. It can do more harm than good.
The same goes for certain ingredients you’ll find in your favourite skincare products. The secret to achieving great results is understanding those ingredients and applying them in a methodical approach. Again, treatments are much the same.
When you book in for a consultation with me, I’ll establish synergy between both products and treatments so that you can see a real change in your skin.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to take the time a plan when it comes to something as sensitive as our skin. Blindly applying products and investing in expensive treatments isn’t the way forward.
I’m not here to sell, sell, sell. Instead, I want to help you to nail your skincare and treatment plan so that it is sustainable and affordable.
